Designed for a couple that spends much of their free time enjoying the rivers and mountains around Leavenworth, the home is composed of a two-story private volume and a single-level pavilion with extensive windows. The private volume, containing the bedrooms and bathrooms, takes in views but is more protected. The living, kitchen, and dining pavilion is connected to covered patios on three sides with glass doors. The connection to the outdoors is emphasized by all the houseplants kept by the owner.
